We love the simplicity of dal. Wholesome ingredients with a warming power. The secret to a good dal is in the lentils – firm enough to give a crunchy bite and soft enough to fill your mouth with flavour. We tested every type of lentil we could find, making dal over and over again to find the right one. We quickly realised that no single variety could deliver everything we were looking for – so we chose five. Together they provide the perfect blend of texture and flavour, with the ability to fully absorb all the spices.
Combined with aromatic basmati rice and crispy green spinach, our dal guarantees a satisfying feeling, with a pleasant warmth that is not too spicy. Ideal for cold nights in the mountains.

Preparation:
1. Open the bag and remove the 'oxygen trap'
2. Fill the bag with 425 ml of boiling water up to level 5
3. Stir well, close and wait 15 minutes (before eating)
